Beaded Necklaces

For many years, I have loved finding beads and making things with them. I am not a purist; you might find several kinds of beads hanging out together because, hey, they seem to get along. I especially like natural stones.

I love the multi-colored stories written on their bodies, which speak of past lives under water, powerful metamorphoses underground, the intrusion of one mineral into others, the ancient animals and plants whose memories they bear as fossil shapes. Occasionally, I’ll also fall for glass and make a playful necklace that shines in the sun, just for the fun of it.
